2. Launch Local FitNesse Runtime

The plugin supports launching a local FitNesse runtime using any local directory on your computer as the root Wiki directory. This can be done a number of ways:

• Right-click on any folder in the workspace and select FitNesse -> "Launch FitNesse runtime on this root folder".

  

• Go to Window -> Preferences -> FitNesse and browse for the directory you wish to use. To use a directory that's not in your workspace, just paste its complete path into the Local Root Directory field:

  

  Once you have specified a valid root directory in the Preferences page, you can start the FitNesse runtime using the toolbar icon:

  

To stop a local FitNesse runtime, just click the toolbar button.

Clicking the toolbar button again will restart FitNesse on the most recently used root directory.

If FitNesse is launched on a directory that does not exist or is empty, the plugin will ask if the directory should be initialized with a set of default FitNesse Wiki pages.
