FitNesse for Eclipse Plugin: Features & Screenshots

1. Load the FitNesse Examples Project via the New Wizard

To get started with FitNesse, you need 2 things: a root Wiki directory, and a set of Java fixtures that will be exercised via the Wiki.

We have taken the default Wiki directory that ships with FitNesse (containing unit tests for FitNesse and Fit), and added the example Java fixtures and Wiki pages from the the book Fit for Developing Software by Rick Mugridge and Ward Cunningham. The examples are a great reference when developing your own Fit tests.

To load the examples project:

  1. Navigate to File->New->Other...->Java->FitNesse->FitNesse Examples Project and click Next.

  2. Ensure the project name is unique for your workspace and click Finish.

  3. Once the wizard has completed, the FitNesse examples project should be loaded in the workspace.
