Client Projects
The Band XI team has spent the last 7 years working together developing embedded solutions for in the RFID and automotive telematics industry.
During this period we have designed and built a wide range of applications, components, and frameworks for automotive, industrial, and consumer handheld devices, working closely with several embedded hardware and software vendors. We have provided project management, training, design, and implementation services to many companies including Delphi, DaimlerChrysler, Johnson Controls, Fiat, GlobalValue, Hyundai, Porsche, Siemens/VDO, TACOM/MTS, OnStar, Acunia, and Motorola. We have also built strong partnerships with a variety of hardware manufacturers including Intel, Motorola, Hitachi, Intrinsync, and Applied Data Systems, and several real-time operating system providers, including QNX and MontaVista Linux. Our experience and industry contacts give us the necessary background to make this project successful.
Some of our recent projects are described below.
Cyrano
The Cyrano sensor fusion system integrates sensor information into a single handheld mobile dashboard for first responders, hazardous materials management teams, and WMD inspection teams. The system wirelessly transmits readings and mission information to provide real-time, location-based situational awareness. Cyrano also critically relieves first responders of mundane status radio communications and need to juggle multiple sensors, keeping hands free. Additionally, Cyrano incorporates biometric information to monitor men and women performing tasks down range in dangerous environments. The Cyrano system alternatively mounts in vehicle for diagnostics or in command center for mission control and observation.
